Why your vote is importantThe 2000 presidential election was decided on less than 600 votes.
It is well known that the decisive factor in the 2000 election was 600 votes from Florida. Somewhat less known is that 1,500 of Florida’s votes were cast by American citizens living in Israel through the absentee ballot system.
This year the race is even tighter. The two top candidates have been statistically tied for the past few months with neither has taken a decisive lead. That’s when your vote can have the most impact.
